Residential Park Sofia to host GBCIC’s Bavarian evening
The German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GBCIC) organized a Bavarian Night in the Residential Park Sofia on May 30, 2016, at which 100 company representatives were present. Guest of honour has been Mr. Rosen Plevneliev – Bulgaria’s President. In his speech, the President emphasized the Residential Park Sofia as a clear evidence for Bavarian-Bulgarian cooperation: “Together we can achieve much more for Bulgaria and for Europe”.
Amongst the participants were the Ambassador of Germany for Bulgaria H.E. Detlef Lingemann, the President of (GBCIC) Mr. Tim Kurth, the General Manager of (GBCIC), Dr. Mitko Vasilev and the former Minister of Economy of Bavaria Mr. Erwin Huber, currently a member of the Bavarian Landtag (Parliament of the German Federative Province of Bavaria).
Mr. Georgi Ranchev, General Manager of Lindner Immobilien Management, recalled the beginnings of the project “Residential Park Sofia” almost 10 years ago during the event. He mentioned the attendance of Mr. Erwin Huber (back then – Minister of Economy of Bavaria) at the inauguration ceremony of the residential complex, which currently is among the most significant Bavarian investments in Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian government views Germany as its key strategic partner in the European Union. Notably in addition, Bavaria, the biggest federal state of Germany, ranks as the third trading partner for Bulgaria.
